Climate Story Fund

Doc Society shares that with more than a billion adults knowing little to nothing about the biggest existential challenge facing humanity, raising awareness among the public about climate science is critical.

To meet this challenge, they have launched a fund to support a wave of transformative climate change storytelling from around the world. Their biggest focus is to support multiple different streams of storytelling, and actively welcome stories that will resonate in specific regions and engage audiences who have not felt part of the climate movement. They want to support stories that seed new norms and beliefs and offer us visions of a climate just future. Something that we believe we all need right now!

Over the past eighteen months alone they have regranted over $1 million in production and impact grants to creative storytelling projects; feature docs, shorts, web series, animations, podcasts and a docudrama.
